Privacy Policy
Bitcoin Surf takes privacy seriously — it would be odd for a publication about security not to. This policy explains, in plain language, what little data we process and why.
What we collect
We use functional cookies only. These are strictly necessary for the website to work: remembering your language preference and maintaining basic session integrity. We do not use analytics trackers, advertising cookies, fingerprinting techniques or social media pixels of any kind.
What we do not do
- We do not track your behaviour across this site or other sites.
- We do not build profiles of visitors.
- We do not sell, rent or otherwise share personal data with third parties.
- We do not run third-party advertising networks on our pages.
Server logs
Like virtually every website, our hosting infrastructure keeps short-lived technical logs (IP address, timestamp, requested page) for security and abuse prevention. These logs are automatically deleted after a short retention period and are never used for marketing.
If you write to us, we use your email address only to reply to you. We do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit request, and we never share correspondence with third parties.
Your rights
Under applicable data protection law, including the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. Given how little we collect, such requests are usually simple to fulfil.
Contact
For any privacy question or request, contact us at info@bitcoinsurf.org. We aim to respond within a reasonable time. If this policy changes, we will update this page and note the date of revision.
